A GENEVA BASED ATTORNEY, MICHEL BUSSARD IS SPECIALISED IN MULTIPLE LEGAL DOMAINS, SUCH AS CORPORATE LAW, CONTRACT DRAFTING, TAX LAW, DUE DILIGENCE MISSIONS, COMPLEX LITIGATION BETWEEN SHAREHOLDERS, RESTRUCTURING OF COMPANIES AND ASSISTANCE TO FOREIGN COMPANIES SETTING UP IN SWITZERLAND.

Michel obtained his Law Degree at the University of Fribourg in 1997 and his Attorney license at the bar of Geneva in 2000. He then acquired 6 years of legal experience working at KPMG. In the next 14 years, Michel Bussard partnered among two renowned Geneva Law firms (Briner & Brunisholz and DGE Avocats). Over his career, Michel handled complex cases of group restructuring, tax litigation with Swiss Supreme Court and Swiss Federal Administrative Tribunal (VAT issues, Federal Direct Tax, valuations of companies) and procedures involving shareholders based in various continents. 

Michel also occupies mandates of company director and trustee, for foreign groups having interests in Switzerland. Michel maintains long-terms relationships with his clients, following-up the corporate needs of small and big corporations (tax assistance, compliance duties, debt collection, contract review and drafting, representation in front of authorities, mergers, liquidations, etc.). Michel also has experience in the fields of real estate (acquisition of private and commercial properties, leases, forced sales), financial audits, cooperation agreements between local and foreign companies, tax advice, tax ruling requests and Labour law. 

In assisting an important number of companies in their day-to-day needs, Michel has acquired good tactical experience and advises his clients accordingly. In 2018, he obtained a C.A.S in Corporate Tax Law. Michel has joined Cyrus SIASSI and Robert McCUNN as a Partner at SIASSI McCUNN BUSSARD since 2019.
